The road to glory

I don’t usually bang on about football because I’m a pretty crap fan to be honest. I keep up with my home team and will take the opportunity to watch them play whenever I can but as far as all the different cups/leagues etc go – I don’t keep up properly anymore. I think moving away from Southampton had something to do with it. No longer and I in daily contact with football fans. I now work in an institution of politically correct academics who have no interest in the great game. But my head isn’t too deep in the sand to know we’re about to play our first FA cup final in 27 years. I’m exceedingly excited about this fact despite Arsenal beating us 6-1 the other day. This Saturday I shall be thoroughly enjoying myself and I have full faith that we will win.
