Air: Talkie Walkie

I was going to review Air’s new CD “Talkie Walkie” but I’m afraid it’s unplayable on any of my CD players. They seem to have incorporated some copy protection software that renders it unplayable in anything but the most basic of CD players. I can’t find any info on this from the band’s site and when searching on Google for “Air Talkie Walkie Copy Protection” all the results seem to be incorrect. Almost like there’s a consiracy afoot.

I like Air, they created some really good chillout tracks on their first two albums. I wasn’t so into their last release but Talkie Walkie is supposed to be a return to form. Of course I’ll have to take your word for that.

So I’ll review the packaging instead: Nice maths teacher theme with an easily readable spine for the CD rack.

Back to Amazon it goes. I’d class it as ‘faulty’.
