Even on the 'Animals' album he detested, the thing that makes it is the jazzy organ intro to 'Sheep'.

Jon Hicks offers a very revealing insight into his logo design process. I'm amazed at just how simple he makes it look, but then this expose doesn't demonstrate the path to the finishing touches that separate his work from everybody else's.

I wish I had even the vaguest idea about how to get SVN to work on a server let alone a USB stick. I always marvel at Dave Shea's immense technical ability which is equally matched by his design ability. A rare feat indeed.

How I yearn to be able to something like this. But until the place I work at stops installing IE6 as the default and only browser on the staff desktop environment I'm gonna get complaints about the 'lack of design' on websites I build for them.

I wish Nokia would send me free phones. I'd happily blog about them, especially if they were from the eseries range which, frankly, pisses all over the iphone as far as I'm concerned. I do realise I might be in the minority here though..
