@shayharper yeh all day. After lunch let's get on the sauce.
twitter (feed #8) 9:15pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@shayharper foursquare and gowala are popular with you iphone folk.
twitter (feed #8) 9:09pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.

twitter (feed #8) 7:26pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
gorging on total trash TV whilst devouring food of similar quality. A regenerative long weekend begins now. See you on the other side.
twitter (feed #8) 4:10pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Eingang @be_b apparently the online prospectus will still call modules courses for SEO reasons! :o
twitter (feed #8) 4:07pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Eingang @be_b context is often more important that uniformity in my opinion.
twitter (feed #8) 3:20pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@willwoods nah, he'll do that in work time.
twitter (feed #8) 3:14pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@be_b our terminology was all wrong. We're now in line with normal Universities. But it is an admin nightmare!

@johnfoliot re HTML5 captioning at this stage it's going to have to be HTML5 + captioning bolt-on. Will keep you updated.

got some new phones for the house. Nice to have ergonomic buttons with tactile feedback once more. Mobile phones should be more like this.
twitter (feed #8) 3:51pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
RT @boagworld: A great user experience extends beyond the website - http://bit.ly/ckyFGc (RT's as always appreciated)
twitter (feed #8) 1:45pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
.@Renniks not so easy. "Course materials" reads well "Module materials" is odd. "Study materials" better. Not a binary fix.
twitter (feed #8) 1:43pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
admin headache: the OU has re branded "courses" as "modules" and there are a million web pages to update! Argghhhh...
twitter (feed #8) 1:06pm Posted a tweet on Twitter.
seeds have been sown for an Open University media player (flash/html5). Will be good to test closed captions, keyboard access etc.

@absolute_gem invoke flexible working ability and go home.
twitter (feed #8) 10:20am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
Twitter DMs are strange. Someone can message me but I can't message them back because they don't follow me. Like "no reply" emails!

@paulmorriss it's http. I do use iGoogle usually though. I have to sign out for normal Google. But still, on all my browsers?
twitter (feed #8) 8:33am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
.@stuartbrown no i think there's is a full blown canvas-aping animation. (see @adactio and @caseyleaver earlier) but I think we wont see it.
twitter (feed #8) 8:30am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@paulmorriss not sure. It's the more modern logo if that means anything? How can I switch?
twitter (feed #8) 8:27am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
apparently there's an interesting animation on google.co.uk today. Oddly I just get the standard design on all my browsers.
twitter (feed #8) 8:24am Posted a tweet on Twitter.

twitter (feed #8) 9:12am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Cennydd do you limit you UX work to the web or do you do other stuff like buildings and whatnot?
twitter (feed #8) 9:11am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Renniks true - also good as a starting point for your own stuff. Sometimes it's quicker to roll you own than reduce somebody else's work.
twitter (feed #8) 9:05am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Renniks they are blindling useful for prototyping that's for sure. Just think twice before using them for production web sites. Bloat ;-)
twitter (feed #8) 8:48am Posted a tweet on Twitter.
@Renniks Blueprint (http://www.blueprintcss.org/) but in general, I'm not convinced CSS frameworks are an altogether good thing..
