DSCF0008: The first of the planks to cover the huge expanse are down. Despite the rain’s best efforts, we now have a partial surface to walk on.

DSCF0007: We came home last night to see the frame for our new raised deck sitting on top of our old patio. It looks like a right behemoth of a structure. Helen’s actually worried that the deck might be too big!

Is there enough?: Today we took delivery of a load of wood. Tomorrow Darren will construct something from it.
