So that was my first week back at work after a month off with my new son. It wasn’t as much of a shock to the system as I thought it was going to be. Thankfully Oliver is allowing us a fairly decent night’s sleep so I wasn’t in a blurry fug siting at my desk.

My main problem with work is the lack of physical effort it entails. It’d be much nicer to be able to build websites whilst having a stroll in the park but that’s never going to happen. But perhaps walking meetings? Does anybody do that? A team meeting whilst you walk for the hour of whatever that you’d usually be sat down nursing a cup of coffee? Could this work? It’d be ideal for me. Even better would be to have such meetings in the extreme rain and cold. I’m pretty sure if you extract the home-comforts you’d reach those decisions and action points a bit quicker.
