The OU science faculty have a brand new website courtesy of Green Cathedral.
I like these designs. The photos are brought to the fore and nicely framed by the OU Turquoise info header. Great, high-impact pic. What does this massive sat-dish do? Is it one those ones that searches for extra-terrestrial life? Nice to see OU ORange get an outing.
Some interesting patterns going on here. Something very appealing about OU Light Green. The colour cross-shapes on both these publications remind me of balsa-wood model aeroplanes! Familiar design. Sarah Crompton perhaps? Always was very partial to the patterns she used to create for us.
New brand meets the olden days. The juxtaposition works very well. I like both of these designs. I wonder which one they went with?

Here’s a nice design. This has been approved by Design Approval Group (DAG). Which just shows that there is room for some flexibility outside of the ten OU colours that the guidelines suggest. See OU Brand Guidelines 3.1 (see any brown?) See more OU approved ‘on brand designs’ on the brand website.
